A Little About The Decorator.
Since 2001 the Owner of the business has worked along side many contractors in the construction industry specialising in New Builds, up skilling and keeping up to date with current times, with education I have NVQs in Business IT Decorating and A levels demonstrating progression, with our Gross Pay Status rest assured in our commitment to the industry, Covered by 5 million Public Liability cover whilst being first aid trained.
Our aim in the industry is to provide the next generation with a strong steady work force, personally we train the team of Painters and Decorators, whilst offering apprenticeships within the company allowing us to provide fully competent staff in a ever growing industry and supporting our team where ever need be, in addition to our team we have a dedicated registered Mental Health Champion.

Mist Coat
RGS Decorators will provide Ceilings & Walls with a mist coat (Spray Mist) prior to decoration.
Normally the Plasterer would seal any Dry Lined Boards to prevent peeling Emulsion. RGS Decorators can provide this service.
Ceilings & Walls
Our finish to the Ceilings & Walls is of a high standard ensuring any defects such as nail pops, minor holes and works that a Skilled Painter can overcome would be achieved within the time frames allowed, with crisp corners after cutting in and 2 coats emulsion applied.
The Doors, Architrave, Balustrades and Handrails
Our balustrades and handrails, We take extra care, prepping with a hoover and masking the handrails after the first coat. A final two coats applied if there is a stain or wax finish.
We ensure smooth edges with no paint runs removing sharp corners to the Window boards, Doors, Stairs, Architrave and Balustrades.
Doors and Frames will always have 3 coats applied if using Oil Based Finishes, rubbing down between coats to ensure they are smooth and bright.
Including tops of doors and frames remembering to look out for the fire doors inspection codes.
Exterior Work
Exterior Work will have 3 coats of the chosen paint designed for outside durability with the correct weather conditions.
Fittings and Fixtures
Removing all metal to keep them fresh and clean while not blocking the keeps with paint to ensure a nice finish once our painters fit back after decoration.
If this can not be completed Masking tape will be used.
Painted Metals will have the correct Paints applied.
Once Glossed and Finished
After Decoration Our Director will inspect the property and ensure the highest of standards have been completed.
Paints will be removed and recycled to charities if possible, Our support goes to "Leaving care teams, helping young people transition to adulthood and independent living" where this is not possible we will follow our Clients and company standards.
What we offer once we have Glossed and Finished
All Plots returned Clean and Tidy after painting is complete.
Customer care, CML, and Handovers
RGS Decorators has a team of Remedials/Snaggers staff ready for CML, Customer care and Handovers they have dust sheets, clean professional approach and an understanding of the customers home environments while remaining polite and arriving in a clean attire.
Generally we ask for 3 Days notice to complete extra chargeable works with a email from the managers for a smooth service, We have been known to arrange short notice emergency work.
When we book in customer care tasks we require 5 days notice to arrange a personal touch with the customers from our managers to provide information on the task and to build trust with the customer and tradespeople.
On Site Responsibilities
Once on site our team sign in and out, Will have the correct PPE, while holding the correct documents to be inducted and will follow the clients service agreements at all times.
They will have tools and paints to complete their tasks and will have read our Company Policy which can be found Here.
